DateHookup Review[rwp-review id=”0″] UPDATE:
DateHookup.com closed for good on May 9th, 2018.
We initially reported at the beginning of May DateHookup was experiencing technical difficulties and by May 10th the service was no longer accessible. We did find out that in the last 2 weeks of April, Datehookup.com did display a message (as seen in the photo) in bright red on their homepage stating:
‘Datehookup will discontinue services on May 9, 2018. Please contact [email protected] for any questions.’
100% free – datehookup.com never charges for use of its site, forums, or chat rooms
Spammy profiles and fake users are quickly deleted from the datehookup system, or though as you can imagine being one of the biggest free dating sites online this can be a tough task to keep on top of.
In control of your dating experience with datehookup by blocking users you don’t like.
Express yourself online by changing your profile design with colours and styles. This enables you to better portray who you are to others.
Expect to see change and activity within datehookup as 1000’s of singles join every day.
If you know about datehookup.com you will also know about sites such as plentyoffish.com and okcupid.com So what’s the real reason why you should use datehookup and other free sites over a paid sites?
Paid sites such as eHarmony offer an extremely good dating service and they take matchmaking very seriously. I am not knocking them but if you want to go the free route here’s why datehookup is great.
Datehookup is interested in you enjoying their site so you come back again and again (ad revenue driven). They don’t care if your rich-poor English or Mexican they just want you to have a fun time on their site.
A site like eHarmony wants you to sign up and pay for a monthly subscription, the longer you stay the better but once they
have your card they are happy.
So you could say the motive of the site owners is a little different. eHarmony is a moral company of course but everything is geared toward getting you to pay with their free weekends and events. Datehookup just wants you to signup for free! It’s a bonus of course if you love the experience and tell your friends.
Datehookup has amazing active forums at http://www.datehookup.com/Forums.aspx
Friends features and customizable profiles – features most paid dating sites are lacking.
100% free dating sites should not be thought of as lacking bells and whistles or attracting cheap users. The quality of singles that use date hookup and the easy to use interface means they compete with the best. The owner feels that their product at least matches other paid dating sites that offer the same dating product.

Datehookup is built with a simplicity of use. There are no hoops to jump through when signing up and you are sent straight to where you want to go.
Simply search the singles on the site using http://www.datehookup.com/UserSummary.aspx and filter by age gender and location.
But you have to be signed up first to be able to browse singles.
If you want to learn a little more about datehookup.com and what they stand for you can always read the blog written by
Dustin the founder at http://blog.datehookup.com/
and the singles groups here http://www.datehookup.com/Forums.aspx?forumtypeID=4
Dustin seems to be a pretty honest guy with posts like http://blog.datehookup.com/the-reasons-people-leave-dating-sites-part-2/#more-922 where he lists reasons why people left:
It was either because
“I found someone”
I think you are always going to get this on free dating sites. A certain percentage of users will find love and others will hate it and think the quality of singles is to low. It is just the nature of free online dating sites.
It might not be for you! And thats ok…
I can’t think of any reason why you would not use datehookup other than quality of singles and the only way you can test that is to try it out. No risk and No money involved.
