Date2020 Review

Date2020 Review: Datehookup has a very lengthy sign up process, with a questionairre similar to eHarmony. The site is completely functional for free. It would be a worthwhile dating site for finding a serious relationship if it had a larger user base.

To sign up for Date2020, you’ll need to enter your basic information, including name, email address, age and sexual orientation. Once you confirm your email address, you can sign in to the site.

Next, you’ll need to enter your location, and the location you are interested in finding members. You can also fill out an About Me section and add a photo here.

Personal Assessment

Next, you’ll be directed to complete a personal assessment. This is a very in-depth questionnaire that takes quite a bit of time to complete. Many of the questions involve morality or commitment. There are also some medical questions, while other questions are designed to test your intelligence level and communication skills.

There’s also a section where you rate how well certain characteristics apply to you, and one where you select how well statements apply to you.

Once you’ve completed the questionnaire, you’ll recieve a relationship ability score. It’s suggested that you date people with a score near your own. You will also be able to see how many questions others answered similarly to you when you view their profile.

Now it’s time to complete your profile. Yes, this site is a ton of work to get started. However, it can be well worth it if you are interested in a serious relationship.

You’ll need to choose a question you would like to ask other members as part of your profile. The rest are standard profile questions, including religion and physical attributes. You’ll also answer questions about your lifestyle, sense of humor, and living situation. There are also questions about your interests and hobbies.

Member Interactions

Unfortunately, this is where the site fails. I did a search of women in my state, with no restrictions on age, ethnicity, etc. There were five profiles, and none of them were recently active. I also noticed that there weren’t any women online at the time.

It does give you a good idea of how compatible you are with someone when you view their profile. You can also search based on age and location, or add specific preferences based on the profile questions.

There is a blog and a forum. The blog can give you dating advice, and the forum is a good place to connect with other members. You can also send winks, watch profiles, and add people to your hot list.

Date2020 Review: Bottom Line

Date2020 is a great idea. The questionnaire and extensive profiles would be very useful in finding someone you are compatible with. The problem is that the user base is so small, you aren’t likely to find anyone.

Hope you found this Date2020 Review useful.
