LuvFree Review: LuvFree is a free dating website and app. It has some nice features, but the user base is small.
To sign up for LuvFree, you’ll need to enter your basic information. This includes your birthdate, location, gender, and sexual orientation. You’ll also fill out a headline, and an About Me section. You’ll also need to confirm your email before you can continue.
Once you are signed up, you can complete your profile. Personal details has the standard details you find on dating sites. The Interests tab has a wide range of interests and hobbies that you can select.
Next, you’ll find the Looking For tab. You can select age, ethnicity, physical attributes, and write an essay about exactly what you are looking for. You also have a wide range of relationship options, including marriage, relationship, casual, and activity partner.
The search feature isn’t very detailed, but it covers the basics. Age, location, type of relationship, ethnicity, and religion are available filters. You can also choose to only see profiles with photos.
When the search options appear, you’ll see the member’s photo, headline, About Me, age, location, and the type of relationship they are looking for. This makes it easy to quickly filter through filters that don’t fit your needs.
The user base leaves something to be desired. Unfortunately, the only female within 500 miles of me was over 70 years old. Yes, that’s literally the only woman on the site within 500 miles of me. There are only 160,000 members on the site. The people that are there seem nice. The profiles are tasteful, and most are looking for friendship or a relationship.
You can click on a user’s profile to view it. From there, you can send them a message, a kiss, or a friend request. You can also add them to your hotlist. The site doesn’t have an instant message feature, but you can see when someone is online.
Encounters is the site’s version of Hot or Not. This allows users to like or pass on photos. If you both like each other’s photos, you have a match.
There’s also a section where you can add blog posts and read other’s blogs. This can give you a better idea of who someone is. Another feature of the site is chat. There were 27 members in the chat room when I was online, so there is a conversation to be had there.
The Communicator tab will show you all of your stats. Who you’ve liked, who has liked you, etc. This is useful because it shows you everyone who has shown any sort of interest in you on the site, in an easy to read format.
LuvFree Review : Bottom Line
LuvFree’s biggest problem is the user base. Still, the site is free, and signing up isn’t difficult. It’s ok as a backup site if you have some spare time, but it shouldn’t be your primary dating site.
