One Scene Review
To create an account, you can sign up either through email or the easy Facebook sign-up option.
The first details they’ll be requesting is the user’s first name, gender, sexuality, birthday, location, and their nominated email address, password. After providing these basic details, the user is required to sign off the T&C of service
An activation code will then be sent to the email address used to register the account.
Upon providing the activation code, the website will redirect to a page where the users can upload their profile photos. They will then be directed to a page where you can provide your short bio/headline, and other personal information like relationshipship status, ethnicity, physical appearance, personality, lifestyle preferences and interests, and a cover photo.
It will also ask for your preferences when it comes to your potential match. Basically, what you’re looking for, who you want to meet, and the type of relationship.
Once done with the sign-up process, redirected to the Home page that will show a list of people within the vicinity of your location. Further, the results will also show recently joined members.
There are a couple of tabs in the page including the chat/inbox page, the ‘Viewed You’ page which lists members who’ve viewed your profile, the ‘Liked You’ page for users who liked/favorited your profile, ‘Just Joined’, friends, and your own favorites list.
One Scene is one of the good LGBTQ websites out there. It is easy to use and provides an easy sign-up option without compromising its users’ safety and security.
