Membership

Premium membership allows the member to initiate contact and communication with other users on the platform. On top of this, they’ll also be able to upload more photos — and in the virtual dating world, having legit photos is one way of doing credibility checks.

Premium membership is available is 1 month-, 3 months-, 6 months-, and one-year subscription. The one-month subscription is for $19.95, but if a month isn’t sufficient to find the VeggieDate you’re looking for, you can purchase the plans that are valid for longer terms. The one year paid membership is for only $59.95, which is cheaper if you divide it by the number of months – coming out at around $5 a month only.

Payment method is either via credit card or PayPal account.

On top of this, they are also offering an add-on that allows you to give your personal contact information like website, mobile number, Facebook page,  or email for $49.95.

Bottomline

The site feels more like Craig’s List than a dating site – with the use of the term ‘ad’ instead of profile. They likewise provide boosted ad options and banners – which evoke a very ad listing feel.

If you can get past the feeling of explicitly selling yourself because of the terminologies the platform used, it pretty much gets the job done. You get a channel to meet people, despite having to pay to talk to them.
